Membership/Subscription Access
Access to certain areas of this website is restricted. In order to access the Abantu Audio Platform, you must register to create an account ("Profile"). During the registration process, you will be required to provide certain information and you will establish a password. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current and complete. Provider reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Profile if any information provided during the registration process or thereafter proves to be inaccurate, not current or incomplete. You are responsible for safeguarding your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your Profile, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions. You will immediately notify provider of any unauthorized use of your Profile.

30-Day Free Trial
Upon registration to use the Abantu Audio Platform will provide a restricted use of the site. Once you select your first book to listen, you will be required to give your credit card information to receive your free 30-day trial of the site. You will not be charged until after the 30-day(s). THE RESTRICTIONS OF THE FREE TRIAL ARE DETERMINED SOLELY AT THE DISCRETION OF THE PROVIDER AND MAY BE MODIFIED AT ANY TIME. THE FREE TRIAL IS PROVIDED ONCE AND ONLY UPON YOUR FIRST REGISTRATION AT THE SITE FOR A SINGLE 30-DAY PERIOD. THE FREE TRIAL IS NOT PROVIDED UPON SUBSEQUENT REGISTRATION BY CUSTOMER OR CUSTOMER'S AGENTS OR AFFILIATES.
Service Terms
All fees and charges are quoted and billed in US Dollars unless otherwise noted. Abantu Audio uses an automated payment processing system and only accepts credit card or PayPall payments at this time. All subscribers are required to maintain valid payment information on file for the processing of any applicable service fees. at its sole discretion, Abantu Audio may use credit card issuer-approved services, such as Stripe, to acquire update payment information for the purpose of processing outstanding payments that are on your account.
Upon completion of Abantu Audio's Free Trial, your credit card will be charged either a monthly or annual fee depending on your subscription plan.
At the end of the Initial Term, this agreement will automatically renew on the day following the last day of the Initial Term and will automatically renew thereafter on the first day of each renewal period as specified by the Subscription Plan, unless either the terms of this Agreement. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time during the Free Trial and after the free trial at any time.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and the use of the Service is at your own risk. Abantu Audio makes no representations or warranties, either expressed or implied, with respect to the Service, or any service or information provided through the Service. Abantu Audio is not responsible for any damages, injury or economic loss arising from the use of the content or Service provided by Abantu Audio.
In no event will Abantu Audio be liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or economic loss arising out of the Service or in connection with your website or any other services or products provided to you.
Abantu Audio, its officers, directors, owners, agents and employees shall in no way be liable to you or anyone else for any loss or injury resulting from the use of the Service or of your website.
In no event shall Abantu Audio be held liable for any damages or economic loss, whatsoever, as result of notifying any official official of potentially illegal content on your website, or for providing copies of your data files to the appropriate authorities or cooperating with law enforcement efforts to locate persons who have posted content that is illegal or promotes illegal conduct.
Force Majeure
Abantu Audio will not be liable for any delay, interruption or failure in the provisioning of services if caused by acts of God, declared or undeclared war, fire, flood, storm, slide, earthquake, power failure, the inability to obtain equipment, supplies or other facilities that are not caused by a failure to pay, labor disputes, or other similar events beyond our control that may prevent or delay service provisioning.
Breaches of These Terms and Conditions
Without prejudice to Abantu Audio other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these terms and conditions in anyway, Abantu Audio may take such actions as Abantu Audio deems appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bring court proceedings against you.
